An essay on the Taiji Quan Lun (attributed to its legendary creator Zhang San Feng 张三丰)
Qi is stimulated, attention turned inward.
The key for this meticulous work: stimulate brain plasticity by coordinating the whole body
Qi animates the whole body, and this requires attention to be turned inward. To put all body joints in motion simultaneously, one needs to reach each of them consciously. Nerve impulses will than animate the whole body, and most importantly the motor neurons fire together and thus wire together. This necessitates a conscious work where attention and intention are turned inwards. As with any learning process, once the internal work is mastered, it will become partly unconscious (automatic).
