An essay on the Taiji Quan Lun (attributed to its legendary creator Zhang San Feng 张三丰)
Up, down, front, back, left, right…the same way. One implies all the others and this synchronization relies on the Yi.
This sentence refines the internal state and introduces the meticulous Peng energy
Each move includes the three dimensions, which requires the fines coordination of all the body parts: the amount of energy is equivalent upward, downward, forward, backward, to the left and to the right. Harmonizing this energy (being able to stimulate the nervous impulse simultaneously in the all body and in three dimensions) depends on the meticulous development of the Yi, i.e. coordination of the motor neurons and their interconnection. This does not rely on a more external technical or muscular workout.
